November 2018 Newsletter

Twice a year, the Oceanview newsletter comes to you from Blenheim, New Zealand. That is because someone has to check on that other Oceanview business—Oceanview Vineyards. So, folks, as I sit here and look at one of our two vineyards and the mountains behind it, I am enjoying my wine as I recap Oceanview Publishing’s latest mystery-thrillers titles.

Oceanview Publishing’s October release, The Last Breath, by Danny Lopez, is moving off bookstore shelves as Lopez jumps from venue to venue, regaling his electrifying latest work. Set on beautiful Siesta Key, Florida, Dexter Vega is forced to reveal the ugly underbelly of this “best beach in America” community, as he tries to solve the suspicious drowning death of the son of a wealthy real estate investor. More is involved than meets the eye, and as Vega digs around, he may be digging his own grave.

November marks the launch of Fugitive Red by veteran author Jason Starr. A shaky marriage leads husband, Jack, to explore a new extramarital online dating app where he meets Sophia who goes by the online name Fugitive Red. A steamy online romance develops, and when Jack tries to explore a real tryst with Sophia, his nightmare begins. This book will keep you on edge to the last word. You are in for a double treat to end 2018.

December brings the release of Wrong Light by award-winning author Matt Coyle and The Warriors by another award-winning author, Paul Batista. Two very different stories with a common feature—you will not be able to put either one down until you’ve read the last word—on the very last page. In Wrong Light you meet Naomi Hendrix, a sexy nighttime radio host with a problem—a threatening stalker. Can PI Rick Cahill protect her while dealing with some major issues of his own? This, the fifth novel, in Coyle’s Rick Cahill—one-man-wrecking ball—PI series.

And in The Warriors, two women, both with giant personalities and egos, confront a lawyer-client relationship with consequences worse than the charges of election fraud, tax evasion, and money laundering that a presidential candidate and former first lady faces. In the end, only one will be left standing.

December will also see the release of the paperback version of Come Home by New York Times best-selling author Patricia Gussin. Come Home won the Florida Book Award Gold Medal for Popular Fiction.

Do not miss these great reads and be sure to take a look at other purchasing opportunities listed below. And keep on reading!
