Give Up The Dead by Joe Clifford, our June release, has been greeted with the same enthusiasm as Clifford’s previous two Jay Porter books, Lamentation and December Boys. As Jay Porter’s popularity grows, Clifford’s fan base expands. Joe was a big hit as a panelist at ThrillerFest, the International Thriller Writers annual meeting in Manhattan. Don’t miss the chance to become part of the Porter fan club. Give Up The Dead is a book that is not to be missed.
July ushers in the third Dr. Dot Meyerhoff novel from Dr. Ellen Kirschman. The Fifth Reflection follows Burying Ben and The Right Wrong Thing. Once again, police psychologist Dr. Meyerhoff is pulled into the vortex of a terrible crime, the disappearance of a young girl. And once again Dot finds herself in a major dilemma—trapped between her allegiance to the detective investigating the case, her complicated connection to the eccentric photographer mother of the child, and her unstable relationship with the police chief. The Fifth Reflection delivers a chilling up-close look at the strain of investigating internet crimes against children, the complexities of being married to a cop, and the deadliness of jealousy. This is an edge-of-your-seat mystery that is a must read.
July also sees the trade paperback release of Manhattan Lockdown, by Paul Batista. Best-selling author Jon Land calls the thriller “about as terrifyingly timely as it gets. Both a superb procedural thriller and stark morality tale.” Don’t miss the high-stakes suspense as it plays out on the streets of New York.
August will mark the release of The Last Girl by new-to-Oceanview author Danny Lopez. Wait until you meet Dexter Vega. Recently laid off from his job as a newspaper reporter, he grabs on to the chance to try his hand as a private eye. Perhaps not a smart choice! You will love it. More to come next month.
