Can you believe it? The holidays are over and we are into 2012. We at Oceanview Publishing hope that your holiday memories are all good and we wish you a wonderful new year.

 

We had a very exciting December with the launch of two fantastic books:Collateral Damage by H. Terrell Griffin, another edge-of-your-seat Matt Royal thriller and Too Much Stuff by Don Bruns, the fifth featuring the laugh-out-loud antics of that dynamic do-gooder duo of James Lessor and Skip More as they once again get way over their heads in crime solving efforts. This time in a Florida Keys romp. We are also thrilled to report the overwhelming success of our free ebook offer on Amazon. The three “freebies” all reached the top 25 on Amazon’s free download list and Shadow Of Death by Patricia Gussin made it to number one!!! Way to go Pat.

January is also “Paperback Month” at Oceanview as we release the paperback editions of And Then There Was One by Patricia Gussin, Bitter Legacy by H. Terrell Griffin, Don’t Sweat The Small Stuff by Don Bruns, Fly By Wire by Ward Larsen, and the highly acclaimed Thrillers: 100 Must-Reads edited by David Morrell and Hank Wagner. This should send all you paperback fans rushing to your favorite bookstore or on-line dealer.

 

Oceanview has also entered the world of audio books with the release of Blood Island by H. Terrell Griffin, Pocket-47 by Jude Hardin, and Ruptureby A.Scott Pearson. More will be coming shortly. These downloads are available from Amazon and acxaudible.com .

The big news doesn’t stop there. We signed two more TV series options. The Deal by Adam Gittlin and Kind Of Blue by Miles Corwin were optioned to Amber/Affirmative Productions, Los Angeles and London, and each book should make great TV material. Congratulations, Adam and Miles.

 

Oceanview will be represented at the American Bookselllers Association annual meeting in New Orleans this month and will remind all of those independent bookstore attendees about our wonderful titles.

And then in February, we will launch an intriguing political thriller, The Third Coincidence, by David Bishop.

So you see, we are entering the new year at a full gallop and hope that our efforts will continue to provide you with exciting and pleasurable reading for those chilly winter days. Oh yes, by the way, a visit to the Oceanview Vineyards in Marlborough, New Zealand, confirmed that this year we should get about 200 tons of fabulous grapes so be on the lookout for those wonderful Villa Maria wines. They, too, may be helpful for those chiily winter days.
